Speck CLICKLOCK MagSafe StandyGrip

In Germany, I bought 3 of them in September, November and Dezember 2025 for iPhone 17 pro, one after the other. All 3 fingerholds broke within 6 Weeks of use. Did Speck, since then, change the design and made it more durable? I would like to try it with my new 18 Pro, but am anxious to buy it again.

I think this is a case of “good idea, poor execution”. The ClickLock part works great. However, I have had 3 of these now. The fold-out stand on the first one wouldn’t latch closed after about 6 months. The smaller tab that’s supposed to be like a finger hold broke on the next 2 after 4-5 months each. Don’t think I’m going to waste anymore money on this- the quality is not there.

I love this item . It just don’t last if you drop your phone . Comes in handy if I don’t have it I really lost without it

I’ve purchased this item twice. Both times the stand won’t stay latched and pops open to snag on everything. Not buying a third which is a shame because I liked the item but not worth the money to buy speck parts. The phone holder that attaches to ac vents in the car was worthless as well. Even tightening as much as I could the phone and case were to heavy to stay propped up.

I had such high hopes for this product. Right out of the packaging the flip stand stuck out even when closed.
