Since my previous go-to dress/casual socks (Tommy Hilfiger crew socks) changed in ways that make them unacceptable to me, I've been looking at a whole bunch of sock options to find a replacement. These Perry Ellis socks are the best replacement option I've found so far. Part of the challenge for me is that my calves are rather large, and the Perry Ellis socks work well for that by not being too tight. The material looks and feels nice, and the colors are good. Two complaints, both having to do with their shank (if that's the word) length. First, that length varies depending on the color of the sock, even though it's the same style/make: the Black and Gray versions are fully 1" longer than the Navy version. Second, even the shorter shank that comes in the Navy version of the sock is a bit longer than I'd like. Still, overall the shank length on these socks is shorter (and therefore better) than most other options out there.

Great socks at a great price. Fit my sons size 12 feet just fine.
