I got this to have a little more space in my carryon when traveling, and it was perfect. I never could fill it up! I love little organization compartments, and this has more than I can use. My only minor gripe is that the passport compartment is so tight that you can barely fit anything in it but the passport. I ordered black by mistake, and I wish I'd gotten the off-white color.
It holds the perfect amount for travel or hikes and lots of pockets which I like.
This bag is excellent. I appreciate the quality, comfort, function, and capacity. The side entry helps access items that would be tough to access from the top. That took some getting used to but it works great.
Five weeks traveling, very happy with pack. Feels tight and solid on body, never felt movement once chest strap engaged. Was a bit of a learning experience to sort the pockets in my mind, but likely pilot error there. Main zippers might be a tad under sized, but then you have the EC warranty. . . Push the buy button.

Putting my laptop in the pack essentially renders several of the other features useless. I will not be keeping item.

In the past, I had to buy my daughter a new backpack every year for school. Four years ago I bought my first Eagle Creek backpack. She carried that backpack for four years and it still looks fine. She just asked for a new color. If you think it’s a little on the expensive side, take the price of the ones you buy multiplied by four and compare I Highly recommend this backpack!

I found this bag snall and does not perform as well as my previous everyday eagle creek product. I ll use it until I found something better. My laptop barely fits inside, few inside pockets. I m disappointed with this product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best everyday bag I have ever owned. I really like the side entrace to grab things at the bottom of my bag and to easily grab small items in the organized zipper pockets. The mesh water bottle pocket is large and deep so it holds my large bottles well and I do not have to worry about them falling out. The outside compartment for my laptop makes it easy to pull out when I'm on the go or at the airport without opening my entire bag. While ocassionaly tight (from my overpacking) it's worked well as a personal item on all of my flights so far. I've used this bag for over a year and it's gone everywhere with me!
