It was love at first sight with these shoes in gold! They have a retro glam from a bygone era. These shoes are not shy and are exactly as pictured - metallic gold. They are sophisticated, look more expensive than they are, and timeless. I like that the ankle strap is woven too. I plan to wear these with casual outfits as much as dresses. Why let them sit in the box for a fancy ocassion!
I wanted to love these shoes so bad because they’re very cute but they were the first pair of Sam Edelman that I’ve purchased that were absolutely uncomfortable. I do not recommend.

I wore them for the first time to a concert, and it was the worst experience ever. The leather strap peeled my skin off. I had painful blisters all over my toes. Do not recommend wearing them if you’ll be standing for a long period of time.
