Cut but hard leather

These are a HUGE disappointment. I needed some cute, comfortable sandals to walk around Palm Springs in . Upon trying them on and walking on the carpet in my room they were already hurting and digging into the top of my feet, leaving red marks. They are heavy and make a loud flip flop sound which is annoying. The leather at the top is very hard and the scallop edge dig in. The bottom of the footbed is somewhat soft. The sizing is correct. However I will be returning these. These are not going to work for me and I feel that these would be hard even if I tried to break them in. For being an expensive shoe and claiming to be "comfortable" sadly they are not.

I love this style

Fit well and very comfortable. Feels better than the ones from the 70's and 80's and I loved those too.
