These are quality funnels. They have black rubber stripes that help the funnel stay in place when pouring your liquid.

I really like the black streaks on the outside of the funnel because it adds a little grip for security. A nice addition to my kitchen.
I already had a funnel but thought the ridges on this one might prevent the overflow that happens when we’re trying to fill our dish detergent dispenser with dish soap. I thought maybe with it being lifted off the surface, no “suction” or “vacuum” would be created and the liquid would just flow. That did not happen. Still overflows even if I am pouring only a little at a time and patiently waiting to fill incrementally. There’s nothing wrong with these funnels, they’re fine. I simply have not preferred them any more than the cheap plastic one I had without ridges, so I regret having spent the money, as I didn’t need them.

Luckily, these came in the mail right before one of the times I needed a funnel — I was filling up a container with coffee grounds and would have made a huge mess without these. They're easy to use and clean, and the removeable strainer is nice if you need to strain something while funneling.

I have been using the large one to strain my tea, save used cooking oil, drain washed blueberries for cereal or ice cream, and drain water from canned veggies. I love the easy grip sides and how the strainer fits into both the small funnel and the large funnel...very good OXO!

When I got these funnels I was amazed and happy at the no mess I had after making the kook-aid for the kiddos thanks for the easy set up and use for making things easier in parenthood
