The fit of the dress is perfect, the fabric is beautiful, and the hot pink colour is absolutely gorgeous. Unfortunately, the bow detailing at the back & front is extremely disappointing and does not match the quality I would expect from a Mac Duggal gown. The hook-and-eye fastenings have been sewn on incorrectly and very poorly, and the bows and sash have been stitched so messily that they already look as though they are coming apart. Some of the detailing is barely secured and appears as though it could fall off with even minimal wear. It is particularly frustrating because the dress itself is beautiful, but I will now have to pay to have the back detailing properly repaired and secured before I can wear it. For a gown at this price point, the quality of the finishing and workmanship is simply not acceptable.
