[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well-made denim jacket! The shoulders of the sleeves do have a little ruching detail which I’m not a huge fan of on myself but is a cute addition. It has 4 functional pockets, two of which button with a top down flap. I’m usually a small but currently 36 weeks pregnant and this is a medium.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The highlight of this jacket is the ruching at the top of each sleeve. It adds a feminine touch in a minimalistic way, which I appreciate. I am 5’4” with an average torso length, and the length of the jacket felt perfect to me. On women who are taller or have longer torsos, the jacket might be slightly cropped. I’m a 32DDD and still comfortably fit into the jacket, even though this made it more fitted at the too. Quality control seems to be lacking, as there were many loose threads throughout the jacket and a dirt mark on the inside of one of the sleeves. However, my biggest qualm is that it takes forever to button and unbutton the jacket. This makes it a time-consuming article of clothing to put on, and it hurt my thumbs because I had to push the buttons so hard. I feel the price point for the jacket is fair. I like the look of it buttoned rather than unbuttoned, so I will be more likely to wear it as its own top, rather than an open jacket.

It fits really well, I just sized up because denim jackets usually fit to snug on me in my shoulders, but I wish I would’ve order my true size! Other than that the quality is great, and the feel is amazing!

What I love the most is the shoulder detail - the little cap sleeves make it just a little more elevated than your typical denim jacket. I really feel like it helped my outfit come together in a polished way. I took a star off because it was a little long on me (which is really more of a me problem than the jacket’s) but other than that I can tell it’s a good quality piece with neat stitching and good hardware. This will be perfect for the summer nights where I need just a little extra layer.

I’m not a big fan of the shoulder area- the stick out a bit in a way I don’t love. Maybe it would look better with a more classic or structured outfit, but for now I’m not quite sure how to style it.
