I made meatballs and sauce in this pot and it washed out very quickly. Nothing stuck. I love my pan so far. Not a good pan for braising though because it has a poor spout, which allows evaporation.
I bought this pan a few months ago and finally used it the other night. I was so excited because it’s a great shape, size, weight and the color is so pretty. I was really disappointed as I made a simple sauce that the handles got SO hot after a few minutes of using it on low heat. This is the first time I experienced this with a Tramontina pan and was very surprised and like I said earlier, disappointed in my purchase. I will use it with a cloth or oven mitt in the future and sadly have to warn anyone cooking with it about the I wouldn’t recommend this purchase
I bought this item as a gift for my 82 year old mother. she liked it, it has a beautiful appearance, when the day came to use it and cook a stew, my poor mom grabbed the side handles to move it and she burned her hands. those handles get super super hot the items description does not states you must wear gloves to protect your hands when moving it.
I absolutely love this pan! It's the perfect size for the stove without a long hadle.
