I purchased this dress for an afternoon wedding. I could not have been more pleased. The design, the fabric, the pockets and the straps definitely make a statement.

The dress looks like a circus tent from the waist down. I was very disappointed and returned it. Way too much material. Looks great on the model.

Pleating is complicated once you washed that kind of material is hard to put it back up the way it was. It get wrinkles like crazy. But some people do like that material so try it yourself and see. Does a beautiful body shape it's cute modest and has comfort. The zipper is good and smooth gold looks sophisticated.

I am 50yo, 5’5”, 140 lbs, usually wear size 4 in tops and 6 in bottoms. The dress in size 6 fit great in the waist but too wide in shoulders for me. Also would need to be professionally steamed as I bought it online. The cotton fabric is nice and heavy.

Pleading was uneven. Perhaps it needs a solid ironing. Size was off. I’m usually a six in most brands. This one was too big.

I purchased this dress for a special occasion. It's a pretty gold color, the fabric is comfortable, and it has pockets. Best of all, I was able to avoid heavy beading and sequins. Perfect!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dress is made of lightweight cotton with stretch that makes it SO comfortable, plus it has pockets! I'm a tall person and the length is great for me to wear to work and comfortable enough to sit in all day at my office. With it being a light color I worried about needing to wear a slip but that is not necessary as the material is not thin and the upper bodice is lined. My favorite feature is the straps; I know I've mentioned convert multiple times but they are just so comfortable!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The quality of this Halston dress is good, the zipper is well crafted and heavy, and the stitches are even. However the fabric appears more yellow in person than stock photos suggest, and given that beige/tan tones can clash with skin tones, this can be problematic. I have a neutral skin tone so too much yellow tone is not complimentary, and this beige unfortunately does not work for me. It seems to run a bit large as well, there is a panel in the back that has stretch. I ordered my normal size which is 10, and felt that it did not cling properly to my torso. It ended up being bulkier than it should be in the midsection and unfortunately unflattering, as it then flared out in the widest part of the hips without the benefit of the nip in the waist. This would likely need to be downsized at least one to two sizes in order to get a semblance of the fit and flare that is suggested in the description. The other part that was difficult for me was the fabric. While it is soft and not scratchy, it also wrinkles abysmally. I had hoped to bring this dress while on a trip, and that is a definite no because I cannot travel out of my closet, let alone on an airplane without an absurd amount of wrinkles. I have tried steaming and ironing, this would take copious amounts of starch to stay relatively wrinkle-free. Given that it has a draped neckline, this still doesn't quite solve the issue as that cannot be stiffly creased to avoid wrinkling. The length is adequate, I am 5'8" and it was to my ankle. The tone of the dress is subjective so I will not remove stars for that, however, the fit and fabric wrinkling so badly reduced the stars for this dress.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really cute dress. I love the color. I feel like it can be worn your round, depending on how you accessorize it. The fabric is very nice. I love the silhouette of it and the details across the waist. I feel like you could dress it up or down, depending on where you’re wearing it. My only thing is it is a little tight across the top but other than that, it is a really cute dress. It’s a nice length and I can see it being worn to a multitude of events.
