pretty pretty dress but the bust area was very strange and i did not like its look in the most area

I ended up returning this dress overall it wasn’t a bad dress. The fabric is nice and lite and embroidered. This is a great casual dress. I just didn’t like the way it fit on me in the chest area. The back is fantastic though.

I am 5'9'' and wear a 10 in most dresses. I recently ordered 8 dresses to try on and ultimately choose one for my casual court house wedding. All were size 10, and all fit except this one. I was unable to get the back zipped up. On top of that the bust was very weirdly fitted. I have an smaller bust (32 D1/2, this sounds large, but on my 5'9'' frame with broad shoulders and large arms I look more like a B) and there was tons of extra fabric above the pleats. I didn't fill out the bust at all, yet simultaneously the bust was too short. The line below the pleats just barely made it below my chest. Basically, I think this dress is made for someone with a larger bust and a shorter torso. The length between my shoulders and under-bust are just too long for how this dress is cut. Really disappointing because the dress is really lovely and flows really nicely. I really liked the details in the stitching as well. Maybe if you have a shorter torso it will work for you.
