As a petite I should have realized that the design of this skirt would over power my small frame. I had hoped I could make it work but alas it had to go back along with with top. I wish Eileen would have made this in a petite sizing that would actually fit we petites!
Great lightweight denim skirt. Love the drape and the length. I think it can transition into fall and early winter with tights and boots and has been a great skirt for summer. Maybe Eileen Fisher could make this in a heavy twill or corduroy for winter?
Perfect forever basic...light enough for summer but should wear all year long with tights. The fabric drapes beautifully. The waistband has give without looking elasticated and bulky.

I am disappointed on two counts. I like the style of the skirt very much, BUT it should come in petite sizes. I brought it to my tailor for shortening - she did a great job, but because the skirt is so wide and has topstitching, the hemming added considerably to the skirt's cost. Even more seriously, after I had torn off the tags, I saw that one said that the color of the skirt could transfer onto light surfaces. All of my couches are off-white! I haven't yet tested color-fastness by wearing the skirt, but really, at this price especially, Eileen Fisher should use higher-quality fabrics that won't bleed.
As soon as I saw this in the collection, I KNEW I had to have it! What a wonderfully versatile addition to my closet. Great fit, comfortable, easy to maintain & pairs well with the tank or any other top. So glad I got this EF staple - I always feel great in this set and have gotten many compliments.
Love the material, love the cut; but too long for my shortish legs- I wish it hit a few inches above my ankles.
This is a really nice skirt and the weight of the denim is just right for our hot weather climate here in Los Angeles.
The skirt with the top make a nice outfit paired with a long sleeved white tee shirt.
