I love the look of these sandals. However, the leather used is still and will take quite a bit to break in. The pictures make it look soft but that is NOT the case. Be prepared

These sandals are unbelievably comfortable. They cradle your foot with the right amount of support. The toe piece might take a little getting used to, but the uppers are leather so they stretch. This is my third pair of Mephisto sandals. I live in a warm climate, so they’re worn year round.

I have 3 other pairs of Helen, this one was a touch too shiny then I wanted. The material a bit sharper on the edges as well - I sent them back. LOVE my other pairs however with a solid 5 rating!

I have worn the Helen Etna sandals since around 2008. Right now I have 4 pair. The fit had always been consistent until this last pair. The toe hole is 1/4" smaller than my other sandals.

This is my second pair. After hard use, 8 years later, my original pair wore out. These are great for general use, especially when lots of foot support is needed for long walks. Love these!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my Helen sandals! I call them my "good hiking sandals" as I wear them everywhere. They're versatile and can dress up (beach style) an outfit but are also great for a 4 mile hike. They last for years, even with the way I treat them.
