[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the S3 Apparel Square Neck Midi Stretch Denim Dress with built in Shapewear, denim ebony rinse, complimentary in exchange for my honest review. I’ll admit this is certainly outside my comfort zone but I was excited to try it. I initially had difficulty deciding on the size but ultimately sized up and am glad I did. It’s true to size but wound up seeming much longer than the selection photos presented. Yet, it wasn’t problematic and fit well up top. I really liked the straps, though I wish they’d been a bit shorter. However, the sleeveless component was comfortable! I really liked the shape of the back and the slit towards the bottom. When they said, built in shapewear, they meant it as it really had all parts necessary to smooth all your bits out. It was surprisingly easy to put on and zipped well but it did take a minute to adjust yourself and the layers within. It was very comfortable to wear and held up well on a mall excursion. I did only rate it three stars as the shapewear didn’t smooth itself completely, there were no pockets in the dress, and it is hand wash only. Despite those things, I’d still wear it again and am glad it’s part of my wardrobe now!

The length is not too short and not too long. The neckline is also flattering with the square neck. This dress would be perfect for a day at the office with a pair of short heels.

It is listed as Ebony Black, but in person it looks more like a dark grayish-blue denim tone. The fabric is soft, stretchy, and very comfortable to wear throughout the day. One thing I really liked was the built-in shaping bodysuit. It provides light tummy control and smoothing without feeling restrictive. The shelf bra has removable bra pads. It does offers support , and as someone with a larger bust, I found this dress to be very big-boob friendly. Plus this dress have open gusset. The square neckline is flattering, and the back zipper adds a stylish touch. The sizing runs large in my opinion. I ordered an XL, but I believe a Large or even Medium would have given me a more fitted look. If you're between sizes, I would recommend sizing down. Overall, this is a comfortable, flattering dress that can easily be dressed up or down. The color description could be more accurate, but the comfort and fit features make it a solid choice.
