This is a great jacket for colder, wetter weather, with its hood and insulation layer. I have endured multiple London and Seattle downpours in this jacket, remaining totally dry. Good wind protection too. Lightweight.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to love this coat, but it's going back. Barbour coats typically have a boxy fit, but this is just plain large. I'm a solid size 10, but the size 8 is still WAY too big, even with a bulky sweater. I did end up with another Barbour style but sized down to a 6 and had with plenty of room for layering. This jacket is warm and waterproof with a hood that cinches - a plus. You can't beat Barbour for quality construction and details.
