I was on the fence about getting this dress but I am so glad I finally committed. I was unsure about the sizing because they had no Large sizes left so I gambled with a Medium and thankfully that worked out nicely. I am 5’6”, lanky build, short-waisted, 145lbs. I might need to wear it with a minimizing bra though but otherwise it is perfect. I like that the bodice is a flexible fabric while the skirt is cotton, almost taffeta-like. The pockets are an absolute perfect touch. I feel the neck is a little snug though, hopefully it stretches a little over time. Hope they make them in other colors in time!

I really wanted to keep this dress but at 5'2" the skirt was almost to the floor. Plus, the pleats around the hip area made your hips look very wide. The dress was nicely made but it is for taller people without hips.

I love this dress! Beautiful. Whenever I wear it m, styled with a black belt, black suede boots and a black hat I receive massive amounts of compliments. And my husband loves me in it.

Since it was a final sale, I gave it to a friend and it looks great on her! May have even recruited her to be a new Marcella fan.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fabric feels uncharacteristically cheap. Quality, doesn’t fit as expected. The torso mid section is very elastic and pulls the top of the bell of the dress to my underbust. But the back has too much girth so it fits poorly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Beautiful dress. Simple, flattering and fashionable. This dress is beautifully made with a darling light cotton skirt that kind of crackled when I moved. I belted it with thick red leather. It made me feel great!

Big and witchy looking. Nothing like what I expected. Returning.
