It was easy to wipe clean. The platter is about as wide as a placemat and blends in well with our dark wood and blue/gray decor. This platter would work great for serving a large roast or tenderloin at the table. It also makes a good centerpiece to leave out all the time. We layed out all our freshly bought and homegrown summer produce. It provides a rainbow of color to the room and it keeps the healthy snacks out in view for everyone to grab and enjoy.
