The earrings are not made well. The earring back was loose and bent. I would not recommend these earrings.

I lost one of my beloved pearl earrings which I’ve worn everyday for as long as I can remember. I was in a hurry to find a replacement pair so after shopping around I decided to check Macys. I found these Akoya 8mm. studs and since Labor Day was only a a few days away, I waited. They were on sale at a great price. They arrived yesterday and they are beautiful! I’m very happy with my purchase.

They are beautiful. They are the perfect size. You notice them but they arent too big.

Pearls are very pretty, perfect as far as I can see. One of the gold posts was bent when it arrived, I carefully bent it back. Post backs are so tiny that they are difficult to hold and place correctly on posts.

I bought the 8.0 - 8.5mm Akoya pearl stud earrings because my pierced ears are starting close. I thought having a pair of studs might help, especially if the studs are 14k gold. Well, it turns out the piercings are closed, but I'm going to give the earrings to a friend whose birthday is coming up. I think she will love them: the luster is warm and inviting.

They have great luster the perfect size 8mm 14 karat gold posts. They are lovely.
