Weather is changing so I stocked up on warm clothing. This sweater is absolutely comfortable! Perfect for layering once it gets colder out. I did size up, I do like it on the baggy side.
I’m in love with this cashmere sweater. I think this charter club cashmere sweater is different than other charter club cashmere sweaters I’ve had in the past . It’s a bit thicker in feel and more substantial . The coffee bean color is just stunning. It’s just a little bit oversized with a high collar and slightly lower back which feels stylish and effortlessly cool. I am wearing my usual medium size and it’s a great fit. I’m going to wear this in the fall/winter with lighter colored jeans.
I am 5 foot three, 115 pounds and ordered this sweater in a size small. It is quite oversized and I definitely would have liked it better if it had come in petite sizing. It almost looks like a men’s sweater because of the cut, fit and style. The crewneck line isn’t super feminine and overall, the sweater isn’t very flattering on my frame. I have been wanting a chocolate brown cashmere sweater for a while now, but this one just doesn’t look as cute as I was hoping it would. The label says it is 100% cashmere, but it doesn’t feel as butter soft as some other cashmere sweaters I have. It says it can be hand washed on cold or it can be dry cleaned of course. Also, there was already a little bit of shedding and pilling on the sweater so I’m not sure how well it will hold up over time. I typically love Charter Club cashmere sweaters, but this one isn’t my favorite. It might work well for someone else who likes this boxier style though.
Extremely soft, but not heavy. I was impressed how long the sleeves were as a tall girl! I also liked it wasn’t really long…it hit me at my hip bones. Can’t wait for it be sweater weather!
