After re-ordering to get the right size, these shoes are absolutely wonderful. Comfortable to wear for long days right out of the box. Go great with jeans and are perfectly fine for dressier attire. This is my third pair of Mephistos and all are still serving me well, with my oldest pair having been perfectly refurbished to like new condition. All shoes should be made so well!

The Mamouth 742 Deserthas to be the most comfortable shoe I have every worn. I purchase size 12M and they fit perfect. I have now found my go to shoe.

My first pair of Mephisto boots was no longer able to be resoled after 30 years of wear, although I still wear them with whats left of their third soles. These new ones are just as comfortable and seem to be easier to break in. They even came with a label to send them back for resoles in a couple years. I’m a pretty frugal person but these boots are worth every penny.
