These shoes are supremely comfortable and very well made. I also have them in four other colors. I love the zipper option for quick on/off. My American shoe size is 9 and European size is 9.5 or 10. In this shoe I bought size 10. My foot is narrow with bunions and the shoe width is very comfortable with good cushioning.
Somehow made my hip hurt even in sitting. The shoes that have worked great for me for a few years are being discontinued so I’ve been on the search for a different nice looking sneaker without an overly squishy or rocker bottom heel and I was really hoping these would work, but after wearing them in the house about 10 minutes my left hip started hurting, and it kept hurting when I sat down for half an hour. As soon as I took the shoes off my hip started hurting. They must compress something that referred to my hip. Way too expensive to keep and see if breaking them in could help, because they did feel pretty good on my feet. I did also notice the squeaking other people have commented on.
Love the shoe, the leather is beautiful. Very comfortable shoe. It runs a bit small.

I have purchased so many ephisto sneakers but these are the first unacceptable pair. They squeak. I thught they would gradually lose that but it has been 2 months and, if anything, the sound gets louder. Is there any treatment I can do?
I love shoes but also value quality, comfort and style. These have all three. I was able to wear this shoe right out of the box. I am on my feet alot and these were comfortable all day the first time I wore them. I Love Mephisto shoes and these did not disappoint
