This is my second one. After first time use, it won't latch. Which is exactly why I returned the first.

This was a gift , used for the first time today, rice was perfect but after cleaning it , lid wont close.

I bought this solely because of the CarbReduce Function. However, the rice was never cooked right. The top layer was hard but the bottom layer was soggy. I tried so many different level of water but still can't get it right.

This is the second Instant product that I owned and once again Instant didn't let me down. This rice cooker is amazing. Let me start by saying that we don't have a big family so I debated whether this rice cooker would be something that we will use regularly. Well, we've been using it at least twice a week since I got it a month and a half ago. So I think, the biggest misconception about this cooker is that it is too large for a small family, however, this is not true. You can cook 1-7 cups of dry rice in it, so it is perfect for any family size. The Instant Rice cooker comes in a sleek modern design and doesn't take as much space as I thought it would take. I found this rice cooker to be perfect not just for the rice, but also for quinoa, buckwheat, and other grains. I love how this rice cooker can be used for other purposes such as sautéing, steaming, and slow cooking. I actually tried making soup in it, and it turned out delicious!! The carb-reducing option is a huge plus, and to my surprise, the rice tasted exactly like a regular cooked one. My family finally can enjoy perfect rice without all those calories!This rice cooker was very easy to set up and takes no time to get going. All you have to do is select the menu option and click start. The rice cooker came with a cheat sheet that takes you through proportions and options to select depending on the type of grain. I follow the recommendations for oats and rice and every time it came out perfectly. All you have to do is just add ingredients and water and select the proper option. The Instant rice cooker is also very easy to clean up(it has a removable inner pot and lid).

When cooking for a crowd the 20 cup multigrain cooker is a must!!! I couldn't believe how well this unit cooked 20 cups of long grain rice at one! I haven't used it for small batch cooking yet but I'm sure it will do jurist fine.

I love a product that has multiple functions, so much better than having to buy 7 different pieces. This one does it all in one. Simple instructions, easy to use, easy to clean. High-quality materials

Supper easy to use and makes some great tasting rice with just the right texture. Way more consistent then my old pot and water method. This 20-cup cooker is pretty large and wish I had a slightly smaller one for my needs. Great cooked overall

I really enjoy using the Instant Pot. I have it for a while now. Most of our meals we serve with rice and now I'm able to cook large amounts of rice that comes out just perfect and tasting delicious every time. Also the keep warm feature is amazing, you can set how long to keep it warm. There is a cheat sheet for the measurements and directions on how to cook different rice and grains, which I still use. The timer comes in the last 5 minutes cooking and that actually works for me. I've cooked white rice, quinoa and rice with beans. I can't wait to cook with the other setting.

Instapot has outdone itself again! I absolutely love this rice cooker. My husbands family is a very large philipino family, if you can imagine they love to eat rice and a lot of the meals we make in our home have rice in it. I love how simple it is to use this, my 10 year old even helps me make rice when I ask her to. I also love to sleek the machine looks. It fits very nice under my cabinet or on my counter top. I also love that using this rice cooker I can cut down on carbs, this is huge! I love that the rice actually stays warm and moist for 10 hours too! Over all I love this machine and will continue to use it!

No fuss, no mess! Cooks beautifully and the steamer basket is an added bonus! We like that this cooker is versatile with grains other than rice. Make sure you read the instructions because we goofed twice and tried to make rice with the steamer basket inserted and had two dismal fails...but those were our fault for not reading the instructions fully first!
