But once I put it on, it settled beautifully on my shoulders and ended up framing them in a really flattering way. The built-in slip is a great feature, and the fabric is thicker than I expected in the best way. It smooths everything nicely without showing little imperfections, which made me feel really confident. It's especially flattering if you have curves, following your shape while keeping a clean silhouette. My friends described it as "sculptural," and I think that's the perfect word. It has a simple, elegant shape that naturally draws the eye. I'm so glad I gave it a chance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Jessica Howard formal gown has it all! It has a gorgeous neck line, all the darts front and back, for it to hang well. I love the ruffle which is very flattering around the abdomen. It has a perfect and tasteful, lower leg slit and a long zipper along the back, which helps elongate the body. And it's even fully lined with an extra slip in the hip and upper leg area so that the dress does not cling when you're walking or sitting. It is so hard to find a formal gown like this in this price point. This is an outstanding brand and this dress is absolutely gorgeous!. A bonus is it is a full 60 to 61 inches, providing length for even the tallest ladies. This fits true to size, I am a size 8. I will need to have this hemmed before I wear it to my formal event. I highly recommend!!
