Overall an excellent soundbar with two minor issues (thus 4 stars, not full 5). There are no presets (see for example free FxSound utility for how to do it properly). There is an option to tailor sound profile using the external software, but still no presets. and not that convenient. It should be integrated with the bar itself. Second small issue is: there are two woofer bass reflex vents at the back which are completely open, no grill of any sort. This invites insects and debris to get in.

The JBL Bar 300 MK2 has a great sound and works incredibly well as a dedicated speaker for a TV or home theatre. Unfortunately, the connectivity elements are a let down IMO. It goes to sleep, presumably to save power, but you cannot turn this off and so it has to be physically turned on every time you want to play music from your phone (Bluetooth) or over your Home Assistant. Whilst it has Wifi, there is no physical button to select this source on the unit OR the remote, yet there are for other sources (go figure?). I don't want multiple speakers in a room and I purchased this unit, with WIFI, Bluetooth, HDMI etc to serve ALL purposes, but it doesn't. Workarounds are like pulling teeth (eg: sent wifi signals with silent sounds every few minutes to keep it awake!). The JBL One App is NOT at all helpful; I have no idea what it's purpose is for either of my JBL speakers? Telephone help line was not at all helpful, sent a complicated PDF.

Easy to install and great sound both with TV and bluetooth devices.

Sound quality is ok. If you don’t have an eARC tv forget about it, as I’m having a constant battle with lip sync. You can plug one device only into the eARC on the soundbar, but then have issues with a blank screen, having to restart equipment. 🤷🏻‍♂️ I tried getting a return, but unfortunately, I no longer had a box as I assumed I was buying something that would just work as advertised.

Really pleased with this purchase - a vast improvement over the speakers from our new tcl qm7k. It obviously doesn't have the bass that a separate subwoofer would provide, but it's perfectly good enough for what I would consider normal home use. Being able to control the volume just using the normal tv remote by plugging in via eARC is also great as I didnt want to have to juggle two controllers every time I watch something.

Does what we expected, can highly recommend to anyone who wants good sound

All that I read about the Product was Very Good....However, After receiving the Product, and Before Opening, I decided that I wasn't ready to Add the Product to My System. I Requested a Return, I was Promply provided a Return Lable, and Retirned the Product. I wii Re-Purchase sometime in the future. Thank You

Been looking for a mid priced soundbar and bought it after reading in Which magazine that it was good value and one of their recommended buys for 2025 Certainly enhances the sound quality of my LG TV - good bass.

Great soundbar only one bad thing about this and that is it’s only got one port so if like me and have tv as well as by box you can only link it to one and not both , but what a sound

This replaced a 2 speaker soundbar system. On setup, it throws various tones out and uses these to give you the best sound wherever you decide to site it within the room, its fully compatible with most of my apps using WiFi, Bluetooth and wired connections for the inputs. The bass is adjustable according to your taste and the soundbar has several settings depending what media you are listening to. Comes with mounting brackets and screws. A very worthwhile investment.
