The velcro straps are impressively strong and well-designed. The pedal placement is easy to adjust, and the steering wheel mount holds everything perfectly, creating a comfortable and immersive racing experience. Assembly took me about an hour, mostly because I made a mistake on one step. The instructions are mainly visual, and I wish there were more written explanations to clarify how things work. He put it together and had to get a part to make it work (said it wasn’t missing a part, he just needed it for some reason). Besides being amazingly fun, we did have some suggestions. If you have hard wood floors like we do, get a yoga mat or something to put under it. And, It is not for heavyset players. For me it was not the most comfortable to sit in and I am a big girl. My bf is tall with long legs, but he didn’t seem to mind. One cockpit will not fit all body shapes and sizes. But, as an addition to an avid gamers ‘toys’ it’s freaking awesome. My nephews went nuts for it. They said it elevates average gameplay to spectacular. We have no complaints. We’ve only used it for about 2 weeks and it has held up to A LOT of use. I mean a lot. I can’t speak to value for the money because I am not a die hard gamer, but this is a HUGE HIT in our house.
