Being able to grab it from another player really brought out the competitive spirit in our family. Try it, you will not be disappointed.

When we first got it out of the box only the kids wanted to play, but after a few minutes the whole family was playing. Getting the pen ready and the app downloaded was really easy. The only difficulty I had was linking the pen to the device. Which may have been my fault, my kids were distracting me while doing it. But the app has step by set directions to follow for initial set up. Some of the lines that you draw with it aren't the sharpest by overall it does really well and the picture can be figured out. Can be really tough when trying to draw small details, but the more you use it the better you get with it. Will bet a great addition to family game night.

Air drawing was a little difficult for our kids but after some getting used to the drawings got better. Was easy to set up and connect to the tv. Overall a fun modern twist on a classic favorite.

For those of us who hadn't even been born during that time period, this is a great way to connect with the "older" generation. A combination of the classic Pictionary game, with all the bells and whistles of bluetooth and apps and a magic pen that writes on your television.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fun game! You need to install the app to play the game. Easy to use once you Install app and connect pen which took just a couple minutes. You can set a score goal or just play free mode. It has the option to turn on music and sound when you score points. The app also shows pen battery. You draw with the pen in the air. App has the option to erase or the pen can also erase when you draw. When team gets point you manually add point. If you get on a streak your team gets bonus points. The key is to draw big so the people guessing can see. We used a tablet instead a phone to have a bigger image. The key is to draw centered to the camera so the drawing doesn’t cut off. Lots of fun for game night!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pictionary Air Takeover is by far the most fun variation of Pictionary that I’ve ever played! I have always loved Pictionary because I love to draw, but I’m decent enough at drawing that usually, people can guess within the first few seconds what I’m drawing. My turns don’t last long, and it ends up being less fun. Pictionary Air adds a whole new interesting level of challenge to the game! Not only can you not see what you’re drawing, but you have to heavily rely on spatial reasoning while you draw, and usually, you’re wrong hahaha! I feel like it puts everyone on a level playing field regardless of age or drawing ability, which is actually really neat. My family’s drawings usually end up such a mess, and it’s always a hilarious time together! My two daughters usually fight over everything, but even they play this nicely together! With this game, we can actually come together like an actual nuclear family and have one of those picture perfect family evenings one always wishes and hopes for! The technical aspects of this game are also so cool! The wand has a button that you press when you want it to “draw,” and the light on it turns green, and that’s how it registers marks to the screen! I applaud the engineers on this one- it’s so smart! There’s also an erase button right on the wand, so you can clear the screen if you need to as well! The interface of the app is very user friendly, and they do provide a place where you can just free play, so it doesn’t always have to be competitive! Genius, honestly. The choices on the playing cards are all really fun and some are very challenging! There are easier and more difficult options, and they are all pretty fun to try! This game is a huge winner for my family! We own a ton of games, and I would be willing to say that this one might actually be our new favorite, for real! I truly can’t rave about it enough, and I would recommend it to literally anyone!

My 9 year old and 13 year old both ask to play it now. The lighting in our house is not the best and we do have some issues with the pen not always catching what we draw. My 9 year old like to just practice drawing with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pictionary Air is honestly one of those games that sounded a little gimmicky to me at first, but it ended up being way more fun than I expected for family game night. Instead of drawing on paper, you use the little light pen and draw in the air while it shows up on your phone or TV through the app. It takes a couple minutes for everyone to get the hang of it, but once you do, it gets pretty funny fast.
