Can't use. Doesn't come with adaptor, tape, or batteries. Absurdity at its finest. Never purchasing another brother product again.

This Brother label maker is a pretty good unit overall with a few negatives. I purchased an AC adapter because the labeler uses 6 AAA batteries which don't last long when you are printing several labels. The batteries are fine if you only use the unit occasionally. Brother really should have incorporated a lithium rechargeable battery for this unit. The other negative on this labeler is the poor LCD display. I have the LCD setting turned up as dark as possible but the LCD display is still very weak. At my work they had the same Brother labeler and it too had a very dim/weak display. I am not sure why the display can't be darker and more legible. The positives are that this labeler makes very nice, professional looking labels. The labels stick to almost every clean surface and look great. The PT-D220 labeler is easy to use and the buttons are intuitive after using it for a while. I have used the shrinkable tubing cartridges as well and it works great making labels for wire harnesses. Overall I am pleased with the unit other than the poor display, hence the 4 star review.

I bought an older Brother label maker that just quit working after time. But it pulled its weight. This uses Tze label tapes up to ~1/2” just like the older model which worked out perfect.

Awesome product that surpassed my expectations! Easy to use as well.

Printed labels are crisp and clear, instructions not clear, need the practice cartridge to figure features out, margin settings are not clear. Decent performance in general

Would have loved to use this label maker upon arrival, but I figured it would come with its plug so no need to get the batteries as they are "suggested" not "required. Please either send us the adapter (what product doesn't come with one🤷) or say "batteries required". At least give a us hint that it won't be usable upon arrival or tell us "You will either need AAA batteries or to purchase an AC Adapter to be able to use this unit upon arrival." I see I am not the only one with this issue.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect label maker for any project. Perfect size to take to the office or home. I like how quiet it is, and the different font and images choices. So far it has been great to label my kids supplies for school. I am also a fan of using the app to print over wifi.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Battery life lasts a long time! I was able to type out anything I wanted with so many options to pick from with font orders, even emojis. Was able to put these sticker labels on anything that I had. They’re also very durable as I’ve had these on some of the things that get tossed around the house a lot and they’ve stuck on the only confusing part was getting the Bluetooth figured out. But it only took me about 30 minutes to troubleshoot and then I got it working.

The screen is so deem that you cannot read it. The instructions are complicated and hard to see

The machine and label tape is very affordable. It stuck onto the plastic very well and did not budge to come off. I did install 3 AA batteries to make it work. The machine is durable and useful.
