It has held their interest for a long time as they are able to race not only the cars that came with it, but also others from their collection. The trap door adds some excitement as does the helicopter as they are trying to get to the bottom of the track without getting hit by it.

The fact that it comes with more than one car Together didn’t take too long definitely going to purchase another as a gift a must for your little one if they like cars and tracks
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Assembly is required and it looks really intimidating at first but once you get going it actually snaps together really nicely with no tools required. I think my kids enjoyed putting it together just as much as playing with it. As for the actual play, it's quite fun racing cars down and trying to beat the helicopter. The bridge is a nice touch too so we don't quite know which way the car will go. I like that it's a fun track in a more compact size so it doesn't take up a ton of space to have out. In theory I think you could take it apart for storage between play sessions and reassemble every time but I don't think I'd want to unless I knew it would be longer term storage.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son LOVES this track. It's about 2 ft tall- and designed for action. You load up two cars at the top and set the helicopter, then pull a lever that releases first the helicopter, then the cars. The cats then have to race around the track, dodge the helicopter across a jump, and beat it to the bottom. Finally there is a trap door that the first car triggers to make the second car (the bad guy) fall off the track. We've only had it two days and he's already played with it for hours. The set came in lots of pieces and had to be assembled, but each was very clearly labeled and the instructions were very easy to follow-we had the whole thing put together in less than 10 minutes. We love it!

It comes with 2 cars and a helicopter, but he also uses his other Matchbox cars with it. It has interactive features that holds his interest and sparks his imagination. His favorite part is the trap door at the end of the track. I knocked off one star for the quality of the item once it's put together. It is a bit flimsy and I'm not sure of how long it will last. One section of the track does not seem to fit correctly and stay connected. It is large and takes up a bit of room.
