I love Eileen Fisher tee shirt dresses but this one was so big, long and frumpy. I usually look for petite but many times it doesn’t matter. This time it definitely mattered. I am usually a large. This dress is for tall women and maybe you should size down. I did love the fabric and color.

I live in the EF french terry dresses. It's super comfortable for lounging, looks fine out and about for errands. Like that it is below the knees. 5'2, 175lbs, sized down to Medium and it is loose enough without clinging or looking sloppy. Wear XL in cotton tees, Lg in looser fit tops, M in sweatshirts /cashmere sweaters, LP in pull on pants. Just an easy dress to wear. Length on me is about the same as on the model. Washes well. Wish there were other colors, but bought a 2nd seaweed one anyway because of constant wear. For me, picture does not do it justice, seems large on model. I love this purchase.

This dress was described as “boxy” which it is NOT. Long and slim fitting. Lately, I have found EF sizing as smaller than it used to be. I did like this colour. Sent it back… not an easy process.

First off, the description says there are slits on the side-plural. My dress had a slit on the left side but not on the right which caused the dress to hang unevenly when on. Also, the dropped shoulder/sleeve seam puffed out and looked bulkier than usual. I didn’t iron the dress though because I already knew I was returning it. I ordered the XL because I like a looser fit, and it was the correct size ( 5’5”, 174lbs). I pretty much LIVE in this clothing line, but this dress was too unflattering on me to keep.
