It's handy for light clipping. I have used it for a close clip around the edges of a wound after it had been tidied up done. Or a quick muzzle trim.

This Pocket Pro works good on my dogs and is not real loud like most. It's small and works good for touch ups.

Surprisingly powerful for running off a single AAA battery. It is a bit louder than you'd expect for such tiny clippers, but no louder than any other cordless trimmer. Worked great for trimming under jaw and ears on a spooky horse.

I bought this trimmer because I was looking for something to trim up my yearling’s face and ears. This is the first pair of clippers she has encountered, and they were perfect. I love how small they are, so they fit in your hand, pocket, and grooming kit nicely, but they are plenty powerful for trimming whiskers and ears! She appreciated how quiet they are, and it made her first trim a low stress activity for everyone! As I was trimming, I found myself noticing how handy they would be to have around for the show grounds too, as they would be very portable to have for those last-minute touch-ups. Overall, a great value for the product and very handy to have around!

I was hesitant to purchase this after the reviews, but it was on sale for a reasonable price so I decided to give it a try. Definitely a mistake. The thing has NO power and died after one use. I know it's only intended for quick trims, but honestly it barely has enough power to trim whiskers, not to mention my horse hated it, as it pulled her hair and was very loud and vibrated too much for her comfort.

I have been using these for several years now. They are perfect for quick touch ups at shows. Great for doing ears, quiet so horse stands nicely.

I have used this Wahl pro pocket for several years... it was just time to replace ....so easy to use and doesn’t scare horses

These are so cute and easy to toss into your show bag for those moments where you realize a whisker got missed! Tested them out and clipped my horse's muzzle and ears no problem. Not sure what size the blade is or how long it will last but you can't beat the price.
