[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this beautiful BCBG black colored mini dress from Influenster in return for my honest review. Right off the bat I knew I was going to love this dress because as soon as I took it out of the packaging, I could feel the weight of it! The fabric is very weighted, but in a slinky lightweight type of way. This is so light and breathable, it's truly gorgeous! The pleated bottom of this dress is stunning too! It's classic enough to wear to a lunch or out to dinner, it fits me perfectly too!! I received a size large and was worried it was not going to fit me right because sometimes with dresses I need an extra large, but it would've been too big if I got the XL. Which makes me feel really good! The large is absolute perfection!!! The collar in this dress is beautiful, it has three silver buttons and the scalloped rimmed arms give it such a classic, chic look! I haven't worn BCBG in a veryyyy long time, probably about 12- 15 years and I am completely sold! I cannot wait to go buy more of their dresses! If you're looking for a dress this is the ultimate classic, timeless, chic fashion that I'm looking for! Absolutely perfect for work, or a night out! I showed my husband this he absolutely in love! Just look at the way it twirls, it's so lightweight but heavy so you know it's great quality! I am blown away with how this looks, and I cannot wait to go shopping for more of BCBG dresses! The buttons elevate the dress and the skirts pleats make it look very preppy. I wish it was just a litttttle tiny bit longer in length.

The scalloped detail is pretty and I absolutely love the pleated skirt. Runs big I would size down. Can't wait to wear it somewhere nice.

It is an appropriate length for me to wear to work, but I don’t like where the top turns into a skirt. It hits more at the hips, where I would prefer hitting at the waist. The buttons were a bit difficult to unbutton but I got there eventually!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a super cute dress. I can tell that it’s a pricier piece based on the heavy fabric that it’s made out of. It’s very versatile and can be worn for any occasion. I will say that because it’s a heavier fabric, it’s very hot to wear in the summertime. The stitching around the hips often flips up and makes it look like my hips are bigger than they are.

I requested and extra small and it fits well. It’s perfect for wearing as a little black dress for many occasions. With flip flops and sunglasses, it’s casual. With a nice purse and heels, it’s casual. The material is thick and ribbed too, so it’s not see through.
