The instructions were surprisingly clear and logical although I am convinced this is not a project for a regular person to tackle alone. I hired a professional to install mine because the hardware is heavy and high quality which usually means you do not want to wing it. The matte finish looks incredibly sleek in person and lacks that tacky shine you see on cheaper models. It feels substantial and expensive when you use it and the showerhead tilts perfectly so you actually get full body coverage instead of just a weak stream.
