[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] MacDuggal is known for their special designs with sequins & beads. The dress is very well made, but it is also very heavy. It runs true to size & is made of good quality fabrics.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dress is beautifully made and the body fit well (I'm 5'2" and about 115 lbs and ordered size 2), but the beading is so heavy as to drag the stretchy mesh such that the dress is way too long, and it can't be shortened due to the beaded fringe. Also, for my purposes I was concerned that all the fragile beading would be a mess after one wear. I'm therefore returning. you're petite and about 5'4" and not worried about having lots of beaded fringe, this is a beautiful dress.

While I did not keep this dress (color was not quite right), it is a quality item with exquisite detail. Had it been more sea foam-blue, it would be a keeper. The fit is flattering and slimming. The detail in the beading is more intricate than pictured - there is beading underneath the fringe. That said, the dress is heavy and forgiving. My overall experience with Mac Duggal was excellent - purchase, delivery timeframe, packaging, return, credit issued - and I will not hesitate to purchase here again.
