Shirts is nice quality, and the fabric is soft and comfortable. I bought this mainly for the SPF protection for when I'm gardening or working outside on something. The size I got was medium, which is a little big for me, but that's generally how things fit for me, so no fault of the product itself. If I got a small it would likely be just a little tight, so either size works ok for me.

Great fit, not too snug but not overly loose, and the fabric stretches easily when I move. Sleeves are the perfect length, no binding in the shoulders or elbows (which is critical to me). Vented, breathable and nicely made. Including the earlier and very similar Silver Ridge Lite, I own eight of these shirts. I used to switch outdoor shirts frequently, always trying something new... until I found these.

Please revert this shirt back to the original design prior to the 2024 change to this inferior product. Pockets are useless, even the one that can fasten, as they are too small for most common objects and placing anything small in them will just have them fall out upon bending over even slightly. The back vent is too small and a simple square whereas the original design used a large trapezoid. Also the button snaps for the sleeves are designed in such a way that you can’t easily roll the sleeve above your elbow. I feel snaps aren’t the source of this but the length of the “fastening” material was lengthened for some reason. I will pay top dollar for your original shirt, literally double, because it was the best option for the backcountry and thru hikes. I’ll pay even more money if you add a hood instead of a collar. I realize Columbia is more of a lifestyle brand like North Face now, but you could at least have one product that harkens to your roots.
