In a world where everything is leaning to USB C, this is what you need for legacy USB devices when you only have a few. Perfect for my track ball, backlit keyboard, and HDMI connection to my monitor. Great price point when you don't want or need a powered hub or docking station.
The 7-1 usb c slim multiport hub adapter with ethernet is one of the greatest accessories that you can buy for the new Mac mini. Although the Mac mini has several usb c ports, it was lacking usb a ports which I still needed because I needed to add a keyboard and mouse. this hub works out great because I now have room to add two more usb a slots to the configuration.
This adapter is a practical solution for integrating Ethernet and HDMI into your MacBook desktop setup. Additionally, the inclusion of USB-A remains beneficial given its absence in MacBooks.
