[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love all my Kate Somerville products, but this was a major miss for me. I wanted to love this primer but it was not what I was hoping for. My face felt sticky all day, and then it just made me look like I was covered in oil. The smell was overwhelmingly strong as it had sort of a chemical/plastic odor. Definitely not worth the cost. I would recommend Elf's power grip primer instead as it's substantially cheaper, long lasting, and has little to no smell.

Love this primer for the summer. Brings a cool sensation to the skin and plumping hydration for makeup application or just use it alone for a cooling and smoother face.

As soon as I applied the primer onto my skin, I immediately saw that my skin became luminous. My skin felt hydrated, and it was a great base when I applied my makeup. I was gifted by katesomerville and this primer felt so much more like a serum when applying. It's a silky texture and spreads really easily. My skin is oily in the tzone but normal everwhere else, it worked great for all areas of my face. It helps keep my makeup in place really nicely.
