It’s a USB charge so thankfully you only need batteries for the remote and not the car. It’s taken a beating so far with my 4 year old behind the wheel but overall it’s a fun and entertaining hot wheels toy.

It’s approx 10” long & where batteries USED to go in the car is now occupied by a usb charging cord AND only 2 AAA batteries for controller! Its great for younger kids to get acquainted with the world of RC! Did I mention it was fast? Holy Jeepers for the size! The coolest part is the “magic” button on the top of the controller, which kicks this vehicle into TURBO!? (watch your feet)

First, the 1:16 scale size gives it a substantial, eye-catching presence while remaining responsive enough to maneuver easily around indoor or outdoor obstacles. Second, the remote control is very responsive, making it easy and fun to drive! Finally, the iconic muscle car styling and bold paint finish look fantastic, capturing the classic Hot Wheels aesthetic perfectly. It has held up well against accidental bumps into walls or roll overs outside during active play. Highly recommended for kids who love fast, responsive remote-controlled cars!

Also it has many different speeds and modes. And they come in a variety of different cars. My grandson loves it. He's played with it all week. I highly recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This RC hot wheel car is so fun. The car came with a little charge but made sure it was fully charged before the first use. It was very easy to set the remote control to the car. Once the car was fully charged we put batteries in the control and synced them together. The car handles well on different terrain. All in all so fun.

The stowable charging cord on the underside of the car is a great feature - no more searching for the right cord when it comes time to charge. Great fun!
