[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Formula 1 2025 Hot Wheels Racing set was easy to assemble and within minutes the cars were racing very quickly down the track. As the box indicated, it was easy snap, connect and play! The boys were happy that they didn’t have to wait for a long assembly before being able to play. Extra track isn’t necessary but would add to the excitement of each race. Decal were easy to apply.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such a fun hot wheels toy! It’s cool that it’s formula 1 themed and more realistic than other sets. The cars race each other with a checkered flag at the end. The yellow level starts the lights that give you the signal to “go” and press your button to race your car against each other. Well made and a fun twist on typical hot wheels toys and track sets! Definitely recommend as my kids have certainly enjoyed playing with this one!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Formula 1 Grid Start set is true to its name - it's a great start to something bigger. The first experience with the set is its nice packaging. The box is recyclable cardboard with and easy open back panel. No knives or scissors required and a wonderful reprise from blister packaging. The set assembles very easily and rapidly as well. Nothing crazy to do or anything hard to follow. The set is supposed to serve as a launcher for the included F1 race cars, and it does that job very well. It works as designed and the cars rocket out of the launcher and down the track. However, this is where the problem with the set comes in. The launcher fires the cars with much more force than there is track in the package. The cars rocket down the track into the end stops and then fly off the track. This is also the only thing this set does - there is no alternate play mode or configuration. You place the cars and you launch them. As an individual item the set feels like it comes up short. Perhaps if it included more track or another way to configure things it would be more useful on its own. As it stands, it really requires you to have more track on hand to extend the raceway and make it more of a complete experience. The set does come with connectors to connect to other Hot Wheels sets, making this easy to do so long as you have the parts. In the end the set works as advertised and does its job well, but it needs additional pieces to truly shine.

It is a starter set for a system that you can add to and they expressed interest in getting more. The cars themselves were decent quality. They raced well. The shooting system was easy to use. The large piece that is supposed to stop the cars from going to soon, is fun in theory but kind of gets in the way. Older kids may be patient enough to wait for it, but younger ones get frustrated by it. Fortunately, it is easy to remove and just not use. The younger ones do like the cool sound effect it makes though. The flag piece on the end is supposed mark the winner. It seemed to do that but it is a little annoying to reset after every race. All in all, it was fun and the quality I would expect from Hot Wheels.

The two cars race side by side, and the starting lights and launcher make it really fun. The car details and track color are vibrant and nicely detailed. It’s simple to set up and really fun to use. Creating new fun filled memories together while playing with this very interactive racing set. I highly recommend this great toy for kids who love cars and racing as much as our kiddo does!
