This is a great fan for a bathroom or a eat in kitchen area (where we installed ours). It moves the air well & it extremely attractive. I would love to have more of these fans in my home!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Kichler Terna LED 15" Fan in brushed silver to use in my kids' bedroom. I really liked the idea of these short blades compared to regular fan blades since they have bunkbeds in their room and the fan is close to the bed. I love the design of the fan and the brushed silver color goes perfectly with the rest of the hardware and fans in our house. I used the included directions to assemble the fan and discovered that they are not super detailed with what direction certain parts are supposed to be placed and had to use my common sense and trial and error to get them on correctly. More detailed instructions and close up diagrams of small parts would be very beneficial to others who are less experienced in assembling fans. My husband helped me install the fan on the ceiling and even had some issues with correctly installing it. He has assembled and installed many ceiling fans throughout his life and this one was a little more difficult than others. Once installed, it looks and works great! It comes with a detachable remote, that sits in a cradle, to operate the fan that we installed on the wall, replacing the existing light switch. My boys love learning about what button does what to control the fan and light. The LED light is dimmable, which is great when deciding on how bright or dimmed you want the light in the room. The fan has a setting to reverse the blade spin for summer versus winter, which is very useful. I'm happy with my choice of ceiling fan. I only gave it 4 stars because of the lack of detail in the instructions.

It was really easy for my husband to install, and you only need a few household tools to install it!! I love the 3 speed cool touch control system, which is a great remote for the fan. You can attach the remote to the wall for easy access, and it won't get lost!! It can run either clockwise to get the warm air from the ceiling so your air conditioner can stay cooler, or counter clockwise so your air conditioner does not have to work so hard on those hot days!! It is really nice to look at and I receive many compliments on it!! I would highly recommend this awesome ceiling fan from a the trusted Kichler name to everyone!!!

I used it in my dining room but I feel like it is perfect for a rec or sun room too! I love the industrial look and this fan really blends form with function.

It throws a nice breeze and doesn’t take up half the room your standard fan does. Great for small compact areas, I have gotten a lot of compliments on it.
Opened the box for the 300230 Terna and the glass shade was broken, need to replace part number GI121769.
I bought my plan three years ago, the blades finally broke from the top. Another one is on its way out. Without replacement blades this van is not worth it. Do not spend full price. If you can get a great deal on it it’s worth it. Everyone comments on the style and the look of it.
my terna blade clicked. they sent new blades in less than 1 week. this is a company that take care of customers. that's why I will only buy kichler well done !!!!!
