This is a great self tanner! That is the only reason I gave 5 stars. I have purchased this from Macy’s as well as another department store. The last three bottles purchased from Macy’s dispense a green colored foam instead of brown. I did not open the most recent bottle purchased in June until a few days ago. I was using the bottle from another store. After it was empty I opened the bottle from Macy’s. It was still sealed but as the previous bottles from there it was also green. I should have returned them but I have not. This tells me they were both out of date! It it is green it most likely turn your skin greenish or grey. I recommend this product but buy elsewhere.

My body complete burned and broke out in rashes! So much so some spots of my body blistered! I am not sure what they put in this but it not clean products like it is advertised! This also made me severely sick I was so nauseous and was vomitting for a whole day! I know that is not normal and I am definitely going to look more into this product line! NOT OKAY!!!

This tanner made my whole body green and it was a brand new bottle that I’ve had for not even a week. Super disappointing

Says that they use natural clean ingredients. Unfortunately it contains Phenoxyethanol which is a known skin irritant and is TOXIC around the mouth… probably don’t put it on your skin. Very unfortunate. :(

i’ve been using this product for about a year now and i swear it has looked incredible every single time i’ve put it on. i have a naturally olive skin tone but i tend to get a bit lighter in the winter, when i tell you this product looks so naturally beautiful! it dries down so nicely and looks so even every single time. i literally cannot say enough good things about this tanner. i will never use another product.

The color is not as dark as I was expecting and doesn't go on evenly. I was trying to find something darker, but this compares to a cheaper brand I use.

I have been using the for over a year now and I absolutely love it. It is a mousse so I recommend buying the glove to put it on so you don’t get your hands dirty. It gives me a beautiful tan and I use it before holidays or parties! I recommend wearing long sleeve pajamas after you apply it because it will stain your white sheets, other than that the tan looks natural!

Have been using the lotion for years easy to apply on all skin types. First pump bottle changed for tube, now lotion for mousse. Sorry product rubbish .Review from qualified beauty therapist 25 years.

Ok. So, we’ve all had that self tanner that has made us orange and streaky. With that in mind, I was terrified to try another self tanner. I did research for weeks. Read reviews, magazines, watched YouTube videos... you name it. I wish I remembered who it was in a YouTube video, but she reviewed 3 different self tanners with a pale complexion like mine and she said she liked the St Tropez the best. Ok. Cool. So I read up more about it. Sold. I purchased the express tan. Bought an exfoliant. Exfoliated for 48 hours beforehand, shaved 24 hours beforehand, and moisturized a lot. I kid you not, I was SO nervous to apply this self tanner lol! Not kidding, I felt a little anxious. I didn’t want the public humiliation again. Anyway, right before I applied, I put a touch of moisturizer on my most dry places. Let it absorb. And I began with a body length mirror. It was so easy with the color guide. Like, incredibly easy. I actually followed what this lady said in her YouTube video and I used a makeup brush to blend it onto my feet, hands, and face. She swore it didn’t add too much like everyone fears. Fast forward, I’m dry and I put on a robe. I let it sit for 2 hours. Rinsed off. Patted dry. Now, more than 8 hours later, I see a huge difference. So, the picture in the ad with the pale girl on the left, the two hour shade is pretty accurate to where I’m at right now. I’m amazed! For the first time ever, I have no streaks, it’s not orange, and there’s no horrible smell. There’s an extremely faint smell, but you literally can’t smell it unless you press your nose against your skin. I’m not one to leave reviews, but for anyone who’s a paranoid skeptic like me, this seriously is the one to choose. I’m in love! I can’t wait to deepen my tan with this. Normally I would go to a tanning bed (or outside if Chicago weather were actually nice right now) but due to the pandemic, obviously we can’t do that. That’s when I looked into self tanning. Honestly, I may not go back to a tanning bed. I’m sold. 100% sold. Take my money. You own me now.

I like this self tanner. It’s not as dark as I thought it would be but it gives a nice brown color. I recommend getting the St. Tropez mitt to apply the tanner. I used my hands until the mitt came, it still looks good but it’s so much easier and spreads much nicer with the mitt.
