I was excited to buy this umbrella as it was advertised to have automatic opening AND closing. Upon using the umbrella for the first time I found that it did open with the push of the button but not all the way. I had to lengthen the stem of the umbrella to get full coverage. The close feature did not work at all and when manually closing the umbrella I had to struggle to pull it closed all the way. Not helpful when you’re in the midst of a downpour. The umbrella is pretty but the mechanics are an issue.

The totes umbrellas I ordered are perfect. Totes is the only brand I have used for over 30 years.

NOT WORTH THE PRICE!!

I live in tropics and require shade. I walk a lot, mostly on busy sidewalks where a big, cumbersome umbrella is a menace. This one I can't go without. Small, great sun protect, up and down in a heartbeat.

I returned this umbrella and waiting for my refund to be processed. The automatic open feature is dangerous. It is extremely powerful and I was literally propelled forward when pressing the open button. Closing the umbrella was also very difficult, even for my husband.

It’s okay. It’s kind of hard to let down. Not what I expect from a Totes product.

Owned the mini auto Open Close Neverwet and sunguard Umbrella for one year. A few times in Denver on walks, the wind blew it inside out, but I was able to turn it back in and closed it until the wind died down. I had used a black NON sunguard umbrella, and the difference in heat penetration was unbelievable. NO heat penetration with this umbrella. Stayed cool:)

Very disappointed with this purchase! The auto open/auto close button doesn't work and trying to fold the umbrella to fit back into sleeve is impossible! I'm going to return it.
