As well as chopping and making sandwiches, I pick them up by the "tipping" end (with one hand) and carry over to the table to use as a plate - lunch sorted with one item.

The boards are great, lovely colours, sizes and they stack out of the way beautifully,

Boards that stay inside each other and have rubber grips underneath to stop the board from sliding about while you chop or cut - 3 handy sizes and nice colours - no need to hide them in a drawer.
