I purchased this bowl about seven years ago, and my family uses it for everything—cereal, soup, rice, pasta, salad, and more.

This is a very well made dinnerware set. The only reason why I'm returning the 6 piece set of dinner plates, salad plates and bowls (and giving it 4 stars) is because it's not white. It's more of a cream color. I had already returned a set I ordered through Sur La Table so I was very excited to get it. And, I was so disappointed to when I opened the box and discovered the color.

These dishes are great. They are light weight, have a lovely sheen, are easy to load in the dishwasher, and don't get hot in the microwave. I love them!
