I went to Macys because they always carry beautiful dresses that I can wear to dressy occasions. I tried this dress on but needed a size they did not have in stock. They ordered the right size and shipped it to me free in days! It fits perfectly and is so beautiful. Thank you!

I purchased this dress for my nieces wedding in May 2024. Just got the nerve to try it on. I was worried about the bust area giving me enough support since I’m large chested and you can’t wear a bra with the sheer top area. I am pleasantly surprised that the bodice has enough support to hold me in very comfortably! Also, thanks to other reviewers, it says that even though it is marked petite, it is very long. I am 5’8” and the length is perfect! This is my second Alex Evenings formal and I am just thrilled. Thank you! I
Love this very comfortable dress! I’m not sure exactly what color it is, as it’s not Violet as it’s tagged, yet it’s also not Navy. It is a very elegant MoB or MoG gown. It is draped and ruched in all the right places to make an imperfect figure look good! Beware, it is very long for a petite!
Pretty dress and it fit okay, but it was definitely too long. I'm 5'1" and purchased the size 8P, but even with heels, it wouldn't work. Also, a bit tough to zip. Ended up returning this one and going with a different petite dress from Macy's.
I love this dress! It was the first one I tried on when I was looking for a Mother of the Groom dress. The 6P fits me perfectly (5'3" and 125 lbs.) and just needs to be hemmed a bit. I could get away with not hemming, but want it slightly shorter. The materials is soft and light, sleeves great length and fabric not scratchy at all. I highly recommend.
This dress looks pretty but it is made of cheap material. If you are going to a formal event, this fabric is a bummer. Knitted polyester. Blah. Also today I was just informed the usual Macy's 90 return policy doesn't apply to this dress. I do not accept that.
