I was skeptical, at first. I have a heavy beard, and have tried many things over the past 60 years or so, from electric to safety razors, to injectables, to the various multi-blades. Even toyed with a straight razor. With bladed shavers, I used everything from aerosol foams to gels to a bowl and brush, to high end "fashion brands." I had settled on a grocery store cream, which was economic and pretty comfortable. Jack Black's Supreme Cream, while more expensive, is steps ahead of anything else I've tried. I also like that it can be spread with a brush, if you want. Soothing, softening, spreads easily, doesn't take much, and smells good. I'm convinced.

I used to use a shaving soap. This product is so much nicer. The lather prevents cuts and provides a clean shave. Highly recommend.

I've used this shave cream for years and I like it a lot. I find it works best if you warm your face with water, rub in a small bit of baby oil, load the JB cream onto a shaving brush, and then apply it to your face. Work it into your skin using plenty of water. It cushions your face, and you'll get a reliably smooth shave.

I love this shave cream, it gives great coverage and comfort with the least amount of cream. This is especially great for travel.

I've been using this for many years both to shave my face and head. It keeps a perfect layer of protection between the blade and my skin. I have very sensitive skin and this is the only shave cream I've found that prevents irritation and ingrown hairs.
