Beautiful napkins. I purchased to go with Portofino tablecloth and napkins were not white background but cream. Didn't match tablecloth.

Excellent quality. I purchased 2 sets of the napkins to match the Table Cloth in Portmeirion Blue plus the Spode Blue Italian Dinnerware. The entire set is simply gorgeous. We set up a Bed & Bath in our Master Bedroom and we're enjoying the entire look every day. You don't have to baby the napkins. Use them and wash by hand or in the laundry. There is no shrinkage and very little wrinkle. No pressing is actually required. I trust this information will be helpful in making your selection.

Very nive napkins, look just like they were presented. The embroidered area is well done. I was afraid the blue might run on the white when washed but it did not. I washed in cold water. A little pricey in comparison to the tablecloth. Tablecloth is stamped, not embroidered.
