[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very nice quality, was considering a cheaper option for my "basic" white plates, but when you get these you can see the difference. The inside serving area is a littllle smaller than the typical cough *american* cough dinner plate, but plenty big for a reasonably sized meal. Great basic to mix and match with other tablewear, true white with a flat rim. Added the Villeroy & Boch Amazonia salad plates for a fun little twist.

Over the years I’ve bought several dish sets. This set is my favorite. The white is a bright but slightly creamy white. Food looks great on them . I’ve had this set for several years now and we use them every day. There’s no knife marks on the plates at all. They look like brand new still this is the first set I’ve ever experienced this with, they really are a quality set and I would highly recommend to anyone. Beautiful, stylish and sturdy

The classic simplicity of Anmut dinnerware is beautiful. I have a large 10 piece complete set. It is beautiful and I get many compliments on the set.

Beautiful milk-white color. Weighs half as much as stoneware, but more substantial than Corelle. Can take from fridge to microwave (tested!) This bone china table setting is just beautiful. I keep buying more ...

I bought these to mix and match with my grandmothers old dinnerware. They have a simple elegance and they are off white which I wanted. Macy’s did send 2 plates of a different pattern in error. Funny thing is that I think I like that pattern even more so will probably switch from Anmut to Nuovo Classical. Macy’s Customer Service has been great.

Bought the entire set a few years ago and now occasionally replace a piece here and there. I love the color of this dinnerware because it is a beautiful, rich white and not too stark and the weight of each piece is just perfect. Works with everything from colored accents to silver and gold on my table. You will be very happy with this dinnerware. This piece arrived amazingly well wrapped.

This is my favorite dinnerware. It is very classic and simple, can be paired with almost anything. If you care about the "color" white, this is the brightest white in the V&B line I have found. It is a lighter/brighter white than the Artisano and even the Wave patterns.

As a bride, 25 years ago, I registered for Villeroy & Bach Foglia as my everyday pattern. It has been very good to me as I still have most of my dinner plates and many of my salad plates but it has unfortunately been discontinued. I have ordered the Anmut to alternate for larger parties. It stacks so beautifully in the cabinet and looks fantastic on the table. We do use our china everyday and I would recommend it or any Villerory and Boch product to anyone who needs a new set of china.
