Way too expensive for what you get

I love this brush. I use the black side for powder formulas and the lighter side for cream and liquid formulas. Picks up an even layer of product regardless of the formula and allows me to evenly build the intensity as I please.

This brush is soft and gets the job done very well. I use to apply a powdered blush across my cheeks. It doesn't pick up too much nor too little.

I have the 127S and 128S and find them quite different. The 127S has more length and flexibility with its less dense bristles. Definitely best with powder products. It feels like I'm brushing a feather over my skin. It applies and blends my powder blush and bronzer beautifully. I tried it with liquid foundation and cream blush and it blended everything nicely, but gives a very sheer application. It's harder to control creams and liquids with the 127S compared to the shorter, denser 128S. I don't mind having both but if you're happy with the powder brushes you have, I'd skip the 127S.

This is perfect for applying blush, it applies the blush softly and evenly. I have been trying to replace my old, worn out blush brushes. I ordered the cheek brush which is similar but it was denser and stiffer because the fibers are shorter. This brush is much appropriate for cheeks.

I really liked this brush but unfortunately I found it to be very cheaply made. I washed it with Mac brush cleaner which removed remaining make up on brush, however using the brush after cleaning was awful! May face had nothing but hair bristles all over it!! It is so bad I can no longer use the brush. Highly disappointed, I thought Mac claimed their brushes were well made and didn't shed - maybe, as long as you don't clean it!!!!
