This is the one product that I really dislike by Peter Thomas Roth. It always manages to make it’s way just a bit into my eyes and it stings. I’ve never had an eye cream that did this. I would not recommend this product. It was a total waste of money for me.
I can't believe people are putting this product at 1, 2, or 3 Stars because they are upset by "the scent." Seriously. A) It's scent is sort of like a smoky charcoal. Why don't I care? Because IT WORKS! It's fantastic. If you're deciding NOT TO USE a product because it doesn't smell like daisies, then you're not focused on results. Just sayin'. B) All "unscented" products have a scent because they're "scented by their ingredients." It's not "flowers and perfume," but those scents cause irritation, dryness, etc. C) AGAIN... if it works, who cares how it smells (unless you're turning off your lover, etc.)? This is, by far, the best Vitamin C-based eye cream I have ever used. It feels fantastic. I feel revived, brighter, etc. My eyes look great. And, yes, my eye cream smells a little smoky when I put it on. I don't care, because it's not a scent anyone else can smell, and my eyes look FANTASTIC!
Didn’t really notice any difference with this product. Didn’t hate it but didn’t love it
Would not recommend this - it has the weirdest and most unpleasant smell of any eye cream I’ve ever had/used! I used it twice before throwing it away, just not worth it to me. Very disappointing!
Unpleasant scent and seems to just sit on the skin
The smell is so strong it burns my eyes, I have never used an under-eye cream that burns from the smell as if I rubbed my eyes with the product. Even though I don't use it consistently, I have seen small results.
I was really hopeful this product would be a miracle worker, as I saw Hyram promote it. He said it literally works in a day. I figured results were more likely to occur within 2 weeks. Unfortunately, I have not seen any results after using it twice a day for over a month. More so, it stings my eyes like crazy and makes my eyes water profusely. It’s crazy to me that a product meant for the eye area would be so irritating. I tried to keep it away from the eye area directly, but the terrible smell and product still irritated my eyes. The smell is like a burnt chemical and it sticks with you all day like a bad perfume. I really tried to stick it out with this product, but it’s not for me. Terrible irritation. Terrible smell. No results.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love this product. It definitely took care of my long time problem of dark circles under my eye. It has also tighten that area taking away my wrinkles there and have really made me look younger. Highly recommend.
I've been using this product for a few weeks and can say that I am able to see an improvement in the dark circles under my eyes. It gives me a younger, more youthful glow. (At 40 years young). I will advise not to get the product IN your eye!!
This Peter Thomas Roth potent -C power eye cream withTHD ascorbate is the best eye cream I had ever used! Yes it is a scientific breakthrough! In just two week my crows feet improved dramatically just like it says on the bottle! They were improved the first time I use it! Also has ferulic acid & vitamin E caffeine hyaluronic acid very hydrating! My eyes are so much brighter! I don't understand people complaining about the smell? Yes it has a strong scent I don't mind it at all! Even if you don't like the scent it will fade completely in a few minutes! All I know if it works why would you even care about this bad odor that I can't smell at all just a strong scent that's does not have this terrible ordor that will fade? Yes this is the best potent -C eye cream that really works! I purchase this order I did not get it free or a sample! You just need to be careful not to get it into your eyes because it can be irritating & burn a little! So I'm just careful not too! Finally a eye cream that works been through so many that didn't! It has worked wonders for me!
