I am on day three right now after using the Base Nail coat. My nails look as good as when I first applied the base coat. It goes on smoothly and easily.

It did make my manicure last longer but after only using it twice it made the ends of my nails flake (which they never do) and I had to cut them all much shorter and the tips of some are still flaky.

I normally don't paint my finger nails because they chip within a day. I bought this and decided to paint my nails, the polish lasted almost a week without chipping and my nails weren't stained. It also held my 4 and 5 yr old daughters nail polish on longer than I have ever seen it before. 10/10 would absolutely buy again.

I love essie polishes as they usually last for at least 7 days for me. This base coat makes the nail polish peel off! Both essie original and gel couture. Not impressed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There wasn’t anything exciting about this product. I’m sure it helped somewhat but it’s really hard to say. The additional sample of polish to use along with this was absolutely horrible in color, so it’s hard to say what the problem was. I haven’t had a chance to do any manicure maintenance to further try this an alternative polish, but I am keeping it around for the next time I paint my nails with traditional nail polish. For now the color street strips have proven to be the easier and more efficient mail wear.

I always look out for shades like these and this is just so perfect. It stays for a long time on your nail and easy to glide.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wish this product preformed as well as I had hoped. I clean houses for a living so my hands are constantly getting wet and bumped around. Most nail polishes don't even last a day so I was excited to try this. Unfortunately it didn't extended my manicure but a few days. This could be because how hard I am on my nails or used errors. Just sharing my experience.

Essie is one of the best brands out there for nail polish so I knew I would. It kept up well over the next few days until I decided to take my polish off. Kept the polish from smearing when applying. 10/10!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Essie Here to Stay base coat wis awesome! I tried it with one coat and with two and two works best. I can paint my nails and it lasts about 2 weeks. I used it on my toenails and it lasted so long that I was ready to change the color before I had any chips. Highly recommend

I use two coats on top of any nail polish and it maintains my manicure for literally twice as long.
